A Shell and Bullets Fired by Myanmar Army Wounded 4 Civilians in Kyauktaw Township in Rakhine State, Myanmar, on the Important Full Moon Day of Buddhist Fasting Day

A Shell and guns fired from Myanmar army Light Infantry Battalion 376 injured 4 villagers in Kyauk Talone village in Kyauktaw township at 9 am on August 3.

Village men Soe Than Maung, 50, and Kyaw Thein Oo, 35, and the village women Hla Than Yin,35, and Aye Nu Yin, 45, were wounded by the shell explosion and bullets. 

The shell was landed in the resident of Soe Than Maung and wounded the residents and bystanders. 

Local people reported there were a mine was exploded in the farm and near Thyet Ta Bin village in the morning heard sounds of gunfire. Shortly after that, the shell was landing in Kyauk Ta Lone village and some bullets were landing in the residents.

Kyaw Then Oo, Hla Than Yin, and Aye Ny Yin were taken to Sittway hospital yesterday afternoon. 

August 3 is a full moon day of Buddhist fasting day and the residents were very upset for seeing the wounded villagers in bleeding and tragedy scene.
