Karen Border Guard Force’s Fighter Wounded in Rakhine State, Myanmar

Local villagers reported that one of the Karen fighters, who worn Myanmar army uniform of LID 11, was captured by Arakan Army during the fight near Yawtayoke village, Pannaygun township, on May 30. 
The captive Karen fighter after interrogated by AA members found out he was a member of Myawaddy based BGF, splinter group of Democratic Karen Buddhist Army (DKBA).  
News of Snr Gen Min Aung Hlaing’s request of 1,000 fighters from BGF has been circulated on local and social media since May. 
In connection with the top bass request, the leaders of BGF held a secret meeting in Myawadday on May 1. Commander Gen Htin Maung Htoo, Bo Chit Thu, and Bo Mouk Thone participated in the meeting at their headquarter in Karen State. The meeting reaffirmed the BGF would sent more troops to Rakhine State.

What Elements Push Rakhine into Armed Struggle 
The most significant ethnic armed force can be highlighted in Myanmar revolution history is the Arakan Army wherein a massive youths join with full confidence. They are very fightable ages with brave youthfulness and vigorous challenges. 
This kind of dynamic change and personal gravitas is shocking event in upper Myanmar modern history.  
Arakan Army formerly announces it has trained over ten thousand recruits in Liza, Kachin State. But it does not tell how many young men and women have been recruited and trained in Rakhine State and how many fighters are actually operating.

Dramatic Impact of Internet Shutdown in Rakhine State (Report of From June 21 to July 24, 2019) Released by Arakan Information Center (AiC;  Sittway, Yangon, Chiang Mi-Thailand and Kuala Lumpur-Malaysia. 
Summary: Myanmar government has shut down internet for more than one month. During the periods of 34 days blackout, 6 civilians are killed; 27 civilians are injured, including gunshot, ferry boat sinking, and landmine explosions; 26 villagers get arrested; 4 villages burned down; several people are missing; 9,042 refugees take shelters in IDP camps; 9,000 people are affected by water flood; due to the water flooding, 30 houses damaged, 22 cows died, and 70,000 acres of farmland damaged and male-cultivations.
